Let's Go Flyers!

Well I got through another week. Now I know what everyone was always raving about Fridays for! In all of my past jobs Friday night/Saturday night meant only that I had to work more and my places of business would actually be busier. But this job gives me the weekends off so I know what it's all about..in a way that I haven't known since I graduated from high school 7 years ago. But even that wasn't the same because I worked all weekend back in those days as well. So I guess I have a better idea than I have had at any point in my life.

Still haven't heard anything from the apartment place about how much our security deposit would be. I saw two nights ago that I had missed a call and I did a superpages.com search with reverse lookup and the site said that it was a residence verification place. I guess they are still trying to verify where I've lived. Personally this seems very stupid. Who should really care? I put on my application last Friday that I am not on the lease where I currently live because we always knew that we'd be moving out before too, too long and therefore never bothered adding me to the lease. So I gave them my mom's information since I had lived back with her for a while before moving here. Even Joe put his father's information down because that's who he is staying with now. But they better get this stuff straightened out because Jenn and I are down to 4 weeks. And that's not just when we have to have another place to live but also have all of our stuff out of here. And that will be a week or two (atleast) long project. And then we still have to clean the place up. So we may be looking at needing another place to live before two weeks are up. Which would leave us only two weeks to transfer our stuff from here to Lansdale and then clean the apartment up. Alls I know is that they wasted a good week by apparently not getting anything done in this past week.

With Jenn's assistance I ordered my new guitar last night/early this morning. I could have done it myself if my paycheck had come yesterday but it didn't get here until today. I wanted to order it ASAP because I am down to three weeks before our next big gig and I need time to play with the new guitar's sound and controls before the show. I also want to record in the studio using this one so again I need as much time with it as I can get. It is basically a much better/more expensive version of the Washburn that I own now. Well the NHL playoffs are starting and Game 1 between the Flyers and Sabers is tonight. I was going to go out to a bar to watch the game but Jenn and I can watch it..along with Chad if he does end up showing up today. It's so exciting! With the Eagles bombing in their season, Sixers blowing their chances at the post season towards the end of the year and Phillies starting out abominably...this is my chance to cheer a team on in the post season! Make me proud boys!
