I tried adding an entry for an hour last night but I kept getting the "The server is too busy to allow anyone but gold members to post entries right now" message. Which is fine. Trust me, I completely understand the server-side deal and why it is necessary to limit it at certain times. But it sucks when I have a lot to post about and I have no money for a gold membership haha

Well a woman from a company called my cell phone while I was in the shower. When I got out I checked the voice mail and it was a woman from the company that Joe sent Chad's and my name and number to for an employee reference. Chad also received the call. But I had to leave for work so I decided to call on my break at work. They have an outside work hire for this higher level positions. The job would actually be in the vaccum department and while the job is completely different from being a Consultative Salesperson, I had done very well selling them at Sears so that appears to have been helpful. She sent me a package overnight of info. She said that she was going to call the manager of the store where she is looking at putting me to make certain that they still need that position to be filled. It is the Montgomeryville store so it is back next to my hometown. 10 Minutes from my mom's house which is cool. The info I got today is for drug testing, insurance forms, etc... So it would appear that I more-or-less have the job...but for a problem or two.

One paper is about auto insurance. It says that the company requires it. But I told her that my current job doesn't allow me to pay for my car or insurance plus I haven't needed it. But I told her that I could easily get to work without one and with the money I'd be making there I could very quickly get another car and get insurance again. I hope to get my drug/alcohol test taken tomorrow before work at 5pm and on the way I can stop at the DMV on Market St which I haven't yet and make certain that my driver's license is valid as it is supposed to be. But I can check to make certain. So the propsects on this job looks a little "iffy" unless they overlook my current lack of auto insurance which would change quickly because of how much I'd make there.

I greatly appreciate those prayers that had been said for me in regards to getting a decent job as they seem to have helped..but if you wouldn't mind sending a little more my way to help get over this hump. Lord knows I'll be praying myself!

Well I felt better waking up this morning than I have in a week! Although I did have a pretty bad cough. I took the awesome Robitussen cough gels that usually work wonders but something must have happened in my sleep like taking air in wrong or something because I had a huge coughing fit. I got out of bed and found my black work pants in the dark as I knew that I still had a cough drop left. I went into the living room and paced around a bit as I do and waited for the coughdrop to do its thing. Then I went back to bed and I think that was about it for the bad cough..if I coughed any more it didn't wake me up.

So I should be in better shape for my 4pm til midnight shift for which I will be standing all night. And then I can rest tomorrow before trying to get the drug test taken and then I work only 5-10pm on Friday. After which Chad should be coming down and we can have somewhat of a pre-show party. Although drinking may be out for one or both of us if either/both of us have to go get the drug/alcohol test taken on Saturday morning for obvious reasons. But we'll still have whatever fun we can and Conan O'Brien is having his hour-long special show on his trip to Finland during his shows hiatus during the Olympics two weeks ago. Should all be fun!

And then Saturday is amazing! It may/may not include drug testing in the morning. Not that I am ever concerned about that at all. And then we go to John's to run through our set once and then pack everything up to take to the club. It still seems like we should have a more-than-decent turnout which would be awesome. And we will make it as much fun for everyone as we can.

Well I gotta get some lunch and shower and stuff before work so I should get going. But I will keep this updated as to what's up with the job. But if Chad, Joe and I all have this job...our apartment will be awesome =0) Until next time...keep your head up! If I can, you can too!
