The Chef Is In!

Aha! The new layout! Mystery Science Theater 3000! Woohoo! So I am sitting here watching The Core which is a pretty decent movie although they didn't have enough money to put into some of the effects. But the song at the end which is Echelon by 30 Seconds To Mars is awesome! Speaking of them, I bought their new CD today because of Sam Goody's 30% closing sale so it was relatively cheap.

Shortly I am going to begin dinner which is Chicken Alfredo with Pasta and Broccoli which should be awesome! It should finish up about the time that Jenn gets home and then we'll watch more episodes from Home Improvement Season 2. I am getting a bigger kick out of the series than I had when I used to watch it originally as I suppose that I am hitting the ages to which the show was targeted.

After the movie ends I will put on the Oscars while cooking dinner. I usually do not watch them. It has been years since I've watched any type of awards show but I feel like I should pay atleast a little attention to them since I work at a theater and we've shown every movie that's up for awards. Plus every employee got to fill out an entire ballot and the employee with the most correct guesses from each theater will win a gift certificate. We do not know what it is to or how much it will be for but even though I doubt that I'll win, it would be nice to win something!

Practice went pretty well today! Which is good since it was our last solid practice before Saturday's show. We will have a run through of our set on Saturday before we take our gear to the venue but John won't be singing fully so it wouldn't be FULL practice but still very beneficial. But we are looking at having a ton of confidence going into the show!

I was quite sick two nights ago. I had put my hand in my lap and my legs were burning my hand through my pants. My body had gotten that warm. But I was in the box office last night so I got to sit for my whole shift which was helpful. I am off until 3pm when I have to walk to work and unfortunately it's an 8.5 hour standing-only shift but then I am off Tuesday so I should get time to rest up to be 100% for Saturday.

Well the movie is ending and I should get to making dinner. I will be back in the next day or two!
