Closing Ceremoniously

Well the Winter Olympics are over. We ended up with 25 medals which is one more than Canada got but 4 less than Germany had. 2nd place isn't too bad seeing as how we normally do not fare so well with the winter sports as we o the summer sports. It was our second highest total ever and the most for any winter Olympics outside of the US. We took 34 medals when they were in Utah four years ago. My layout will turn back over either to the previous one or I will make another one altogether if I have the time.
We played an open mic a few blocks from my apartment. The sound was quite far from desirable but we still pulled it off pretty well despite that which in the longrun will help with learning to perservere in spite of conditions if they aren't the best. People made it a point to come up to us to tell us that they enjoyed us and I handed out some fliers for our site so that hopefully they will come and check out our killer show on the 11th.
So Conan O'Brien is back on the air after the Olympics and they go with an old show. One from before Christmas. In fact Jim Carrey just sang an updated rendition of Santa Clause Is Coming To Town/Silent Night. But hey...atleast he's back on!
Still no word on the job front but hopefully both Chad and I will be hearing from Home Depot or some other company soon. We still haven't had to put in our 60 days notice yet but still I get more and more worried as each day passes and I am no closer to getting another job to afford anything such as a place to live.
I guess that's it for now. It's time to eat and watch the next couple/few episodes of Home Improvement Season 2!
Goodnight.
