Yeah..I'll Be Busy!
February 13, 2006 | 2:17 A.M.

So we earned ourselves another Gold and a Silver medal in the second day of action from Torino. Congratulations to Shaun White (Gold) and Danny Karr (Silver) on your medals in the Men's Snowboarding Halfpipe! Made us proud!

Unfortunately we had some pretty big letdowns otherwise. No. Wait. I hate to put it that way. We just had some missed opportunities, but we're still proud of our athletes!

I have one hell of a schedule planned for later today. Here's how it's shaping up and we'll see how it works out:

Leave in the morning when Jenn leaves for work. Stop at the License Center on Market Street to see if they can tell me whether or not there is still a hold on my license. Since I've received no further mail from my hometown's police, I believe that my fines are all paid off. I just have to go and find out if my license is technically valid now and if not, what I have to do to make it so. This is rather important for various reasons.

Then it is off on the first train of the day. This one to the airport. I got off a career site that the Hertz car rental place at the airport is hiring for security. Now I had worked at the airport briefly and although I technically have no security experience, I may still get the job. It sounds like a decent job and it's worth a shot. May get it. May not. But I'd never know if I do not atleast try.

I am not exactly sure how long that whole application process will take but I should then catch the train back to Center City from the airport and then try to catch the R5 to my hometown.

I will need to stop at my bank which is across the street from the train station. I need to get the routing number for the bank which I will explain shortly. And if it appears that I will have the time, I will go about setting up a new savings account as I'd discussed in a previous entry. This will definitely depend upon the time everything else takes. But it would be good to get it taken care of while I am there and it should be much easier getting it done there rather than here in the city branch.

I will then walk to my mom's to sign my tax return forms so that she can send them off. Now she already has my account number but here's where the routing number comes into play... these will of course allow them to deposit the money directly into my account and therefore I won't have to worry about getting a check in the mail and then trying to cash it nor will I have to be conserned about losing it somewhere before I can cash it. I always have that fear when I get my paychecks. If I can get the savings account set up, I may just have the tax refund deposited directly into there so as not to have some of it accidentally used out of my checking account if/when I use my card for something without knowing that it had been deposited yet.

And then I will break down my free weights and despite how much of a pain it will most likely be, I am going to carry them in my bag to get them back here to be able to start lifting regularly again as I miss it and the physical results of doing it.

And then it'll be time to go see Flogging Molly at the TLA.

Awesome!

Well I need sleep for the momentus day ahead!
Have a good one.
