SNOW DAY!

Yay! We were let out of work early last night even though snow had not begun to lay on the streets or sidewalks because once the storm actually hit they were expecting 2-3 inches of snow to fall per hour! We were also told that if we got the amount of snow that we were supposed to get, work might be cancelled for today. Well we've got roughly a foot out there (and that's IN Center City) and it's still coming down. The wind chill is in the single digits. All sidewalks are burried deep with snow and almost everyone that works in my company walks to work. Our bosses should get to work between 9 and 9:30am and the companies Operations Manager may call them to keep the theaters closed for the day in which case they'll call everyone that is supposed to work and tell them not to come in. Although there is the chance of opening only in the evening.

This just in!

No work! As I typed that my cell phone started buzzing and it was my boss saying that work was cancelled for the day. What I was going to say was that I was scheduled from 2pm until 10pm. One thing that sucks though is that I lost out on 3 hours last night and 8 hours today. 11 hours. About $80 for the week. But alas, I shall try my best to enjoy it. I do not work again until Wednesday morning. Oh joy!

After the first day of Olympic events the US earned only one medal...but it was gold!
