Merry Super Bowl Eve

So how do you like the new layout? This should be around until roughly the 27th, maybe later but it shouldn't go anywhere before then. I will do my best to update the USA medal count atleast once per day but the date of the latest update will give you a clue as to how reliable I am being. I am excited for the games! Let's go USA!
I have to work during the SuperBowl tomorrow. I am going for the Steelers as my family is from Pittsburgh and the other half of my family is still there. I will keep up with the score from my cell phone at work. Work won't be totally dead but probably relatively slow due to the game being on. It won't be as dead as it was last year apparently (so they've been telling me since I wasn't working there at the time) since the Eagles weren't even close to being in it this year.
Haha It's 4am and Earth Girls Are Easy is on TBS! Unfortunately I have to get to sleep shortly so I will miss it. I haven't watched it in so long. I am going to have to purchase a copy of it. It features Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans and Jim Carrey..as well as Michael McKean and Charles Rocket who killed himself a month or so ago. This just might be too cool for me to go to sleep during. We'll see how that goes!
So I am missing band practice tomorrow but I told them to practice without me. John has a long list of local places that hold open mic's, we'll use them to get back into practice to play in front of people before we start booking more shows. And after this evening's discussion with Chad, I feel much better that he feels more confident about getting our own apartment in two months or so. I will keep you posted on that.
Looks like I will be getting a little over $877 back from taxes and we are working on getting it for me through direct deposit. I intend to use that for my part of the security deposit if our apartment will require it as well as some of the first month's rent just in case my getting a second job takes a little longer than I intend for it to. The combination of the leftovers of that, what I get from two jobs and hopefully some money from selling my Neon, I can get a better running car.
So, it appears that even if in my head and only for a short while, things are looking up. Awesome. Here's a thought to leave you with tonight: The song Siren by Tori Amos has yet to get the juices flowing...if you follow me =0)
